🌿 Blue Tansy: Also known as Moroccan Chamomile, Blue Tansy is high in azulene, which gives it its striking deep blue color. Perfect for sensitive skin, healing damaged skin, and preventing breakouts. Blue tansy is incredibly soothing, helping to minimize inflammation and regenerate skin at a cellular level. It helps to tame redness, sooth sensitive skin and calm skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Used therapeutically, blue tansy is deeply relaxing and helps to boost the mood.

🌿 Marula Oil: One of the world’s most antioxidant rich oils, abundant in vitamin’s C & E, Omega 9 and Omega 6 to hydrate, nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties help to nourish dry and damaged skin, calm inflammation, sensitivity and redness. It also helps to reduce trans-epidermal water loss and increases the smoothness of skin.

🌿 Kakadu Plum Extract: With one of the highest recorded levels of vitamin C of any plant in the world, kakadu plums contain over 3000mg of Vitamin C per 100g of fruit. This supercharged anti-oxidant ingredient works to stimulate collagen to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Containing the phytochemicals gallic and ellagic acids, kakadu plums have long been sought after for their antifungal and antibacterial properties. While gallic acid works as an antioxidant to protect skin cells from free radicals and to restore the natural skin barrier, ellagic acid encourages skin elasticity and suppleness.

🌿 Prickly Pear Extract: Exceptionally high in vitamins A & K and essential fatty acids, prickly pear helps to smooth and refine the skin's texture, retain moisture, restore elasticity and brighten hyper-pigmentation. It’s also high in phytosterols, especially beta-sitosterol, which provides antioxidants, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The combination of phytosterols and natural essential fatty acids works well for anti-aging concerns and encourages new collagen production.

🌿 Copaiba - abundant in beta-caryophyllene, an anti-inflammatory agent that can be very useful in healing and soothing irritated skin and reduce the appearance of blemishes, scarring and stretch marks. It also helps to retain the skin's moisture, tighten skin and provides a calming and soothing scent.

🌿 Amazonian Cupuacu Butter: A luxurious exotic butter derived from the Rain Forest that’s prized for its rich content of phytosterols that heal and combat free radicals. Cupuacu butter has a high capacity for water absorption making it an excellent skin hydrator and plumper, improving the skin’s moisture barrier.

🌿 Camellia Seed Oil: Known in Japan as Tsubaki oil and used for centuries in skincare by the Japanese, Camellia Seed Oil is a highly valued ingredient for aging, sensitive and dry skin. A rich source of antioxidants and skin cell renewing fatty acids Omega’s 3, 6 and 9 that naturally increases skin elasticity giving it a luminous glow. Emollient, nutritive and rich in antioxidant polyphenols, this oil actually dissolves the oil complex that holds dead skin cells together.

Melt and massage a pea sized amount of balm into wet skin after cleansing, including the neck and decolletage area. For an overnight treat, double the portion, paying attention to sensitive areas.

To maintain Blue Tansy Beauty Balm's purity and silken texture, we've added no stabilizers or emulsifiers to this concentrated formula. The beauty is when it melts on contact with your warm skin. Unfortunately, this also makes it vulnerable to temperature changes. This in no way affects the quality or efficacy of the product.

If your pot arrives melted, or melts in your care, place it in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes (just until it solidifies; don't leave it there for too long because then it tends to crack), then store at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Keep contents of jar dry and free of moisture, water, or contaminants. Store product away from light and heat in order to best preserve antioxidant contents.

The ingredients in our products are naturally sourced and blended in small quantities which may result in some slight variations in color and aroma from time to time. This is one of mother nature’s subtleties which we wholeheartedly embrace. The blue shade can vary from an aqua green to blue grey or to a truer lake blue.
